William Rast now sold at Target
I remember a period of time when Target retail stores sold clothes that were hardly even wearable. Today, however, it seems as if big brand names have been adopted into their stores and it has almost become a legitimate destination to shop for clothes. If you are not convinced, maybe you have not been informed that quality designer denim label William Rast has recently been added to Target’s growing list of brands.
If you’re not aware, William Rast is a newish maker of designer denim jeans, founded in part by pop star Justin Timberlake. This particular brand of jeans has been seen on countless famous celebrities around Tinsel Town. It’s safe to say they will be by far the most pricy jeans available for sale at just about any Target around the nation, but they are still on sale at freaking Target. Doesn’t that boggle your mind?
When I was a small fry, I remember feeling bored to tears at Target and pleading with my mom to buy me a $11 junk watch. Of course I cannot say for certain what other types of watches were sold at the time, but I am fairly sure there were several types all within that same price range. Nowadays, you can see watches sold at Target stores costing $100 or more.
One more example is my teen years. In order to save some scratch, my mother would get me clothes from Target. At a time when most of my schoolmates were rocking trendy, expensive, surf style brand labels, I was stuck with weird brands like Utility and Mossimo, which were the bread and butter of Target back in the day. It was rather arduous, to say the least.
Things have apparently changed. Nowadays, buying threads at Target stores is like the popular thing you can do. It’s safe to say that we have come a looong way.
